April uses her HS-OT10G ophthalmoscope to examine your ear canal before carrying out the appropriate removal treatment — microsuction or manual extraction.

Aftercare Advice
After your appointment: never use cotton buds in your ears, and avoid swimming for 48 hours. April will advise on any ongoing ear hygiene for your specific situation.

Never. Cotton buds and similar objects push wax deeper into the canal, can damage the delicate skin lining, and can even perforate the eardrum — causing long-lasting or permanent damage. Always use a professional. Olive oil drops are the only safe self-help measure.
